Acworth Law Enforcement Explorers

Acworth Law Enforcement Explorers is a co-educational program sponsored by the Acworth Police

Department and Learning for Life.

·        Qualifications for membership

o       14 and in the 9^th grade or 15 – 21 years old

o       Not on any active school probation

o       Grade point average of 2.0 or better

o       No out of school suspensions in previous school years

·        Membership Process

o       Visit for 1 meeting

o       Complete and return membership application packet

o       Pass a background investigation

o       Pass an oral interview with post committee

o       Complete a 6 month probationary period
